Announcing Our Cloneshouse Internship Programme Interns 2026

The Cloneshouse Internship Programme 2026 provides young and emerging evaluators from around the globe with a practical platform to learn, grow, and contribute to the field of Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning, and Research.

Through the programme, interns are exposed to key areas of development practice, including but not limited to data quality analysis, e-learning on basic and advanced project monitoring and evaluation, ex-post evaluation, impact evaluation, MEL capacity strengthening, proposal writing, report writing, and other relevant areas that support evidence-informed decision-making.

The programme welcomes young people from diverse backgrounds, regions, and levels of experience. It is designed not only for those who already have some exposure to Monitoring and Evaluation, but also for those who are beginning their journey and are eager to build a meaningful career in the development sector.

This year, through the Cloneshouse Foundation, we are pleased to welcome a diverse group of interns from different parts of the world, each bringing unique perspectives, interests, and potential to the Cloneshouse learning community.

It is with great pleasure that we introduce the Cloneshouse Internship Programme Interns 2026.

Effiong Innocent

Effiong is a current Cloneshouse Internship Programme 2026 intern. Innocent is a data professional with a First Class Honours degree in Statistics from the University of Jos, Nigeria. He has hands-on experience in data analysis, statistical modelling, and visualisation across the private sector, non-profit, and research settings. His work spans roles at Bluehouse Technologies, AIESEC in Jos, and Instituto de Montaña (Statistics Without Borders), where he built dashboards, automated data processes, and managed a climate change research database engaging over 150 communities. He also contributed to high-impact projects, including MTV-SHUGA and Marie Stopes International at CRERD. Effiong is proficient in Python, R, SQL, Power BI, and Excel, and is passionate about using data to drive meaningful decisions.

Cruzben Ombachi Omani

Cruzben is a current Cloneshouse Internship Programme 2026 intern. He is a dedicated data and quantitative analyst with a strong background in economic theory and applied statistical analysis. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Mathematics, which has provided him with a robust foundation for bridging the gap between complex data and actionable insights. With expert-level proficiency in statistical tools such as STATA, R, SPSS, and Advanced Excel, Cruzben has experience in managing econometric problems and supporting technical research initiatives. His professional background includes contributing to foundational learning evaluations and development projects across various international contexts, including Rwanda and Senegal. Cruzben is particularly interested in the intersection of data management and evidence-based decision-making. As an aspiring Monitoring and Evaluation professional, he aims to leverage his quantitative mastery to enhance project accountability and support impactful development outcomes within the Cloneshouse team.

Fatima Muftau

Fatima is a current Cloneshouse Internship Programme 2026 intern. She is a Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning (MERL) professional with a background in Psychosocial Rehabilitation Science from Kaduna Polytechnic, where she graduated with distinction. She currently serves as a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Officer. She is passionate about building effective MEL systems that improve program learning, accountability, and impact. Fatima is also the curator of MERL with Global Titi, a platform that supports young professionals in developing skills and knowledge in Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning. Through her work, she aims to contribute to stronger development systems and support organizations in designing and implementing effective evaluation frameworks.

Alekshendra Vats

Alekshendra is a current Cloneshouse Internship Programme 2026 intern. He is an aspiring policy analyst working at the intersection of AI, governance, and development. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Physical Sciences from the University of Delhi and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Sociology from IGNOU. His interest in Monitoring and Evaluation is shaped by its role in connecting data, policy, and decision-making. He has conducted a diagnostic evaluation of the CPGRAMS grievance redressal system and worked with World Bank datasets to analyse education and development trends. He uses tools such as Excel, SQL, and Python, with interests in governance, inequality, conflict, and AI policy.

Wanjiru Margaret

Margaret is a current Cloneshouse Internship Programme 2026 intern, development professional, and Clinical Officer based in Kenya. She has over six years of healthcare experience and is passionate about WASH, youth empowerment, public health, and community development. She has supported WASH campaigns in collaboration with global brands such as Unilever and Dettol under Reckitt, promoting hygiene awareness, disease prevention, and improved community well-being. Wanjiru is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, with a strong interest in impact evaluation, evidence-based programming, and sustainable social impact.

Muyambabazi Daniel

Daniel is a current Cloneshouse Internship Programme 2026 intern and MEAL professional from Uganda, with five years of field experience across humanitarian response, food security, and public health programmes. He has built data systems, designed mixed-methods assessments, and trained over 200 enumerators to collect evidence that supports practical programme decisions. His work combines technical rigour with field practicality, including digital data collection tools, automated reporting systems, FGDs, and KIIs that generate meaningful community insight. Daniel holds a Master of Monitoring and Evaluation from Uganda Technology and Management University, and his interests include adaptive management, participatory evaluation, impact evaluation, ex-post evaluation, and building learning cultures where evidence drives change.

Mirabelle Onyeka

Mirabelle is a current Cloneshouse Internship Programme 2026 intern and emerging Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning practitioner with a background in bioscience and two years of experience in the NGO sector. She has supported MEL activities for community-level health and humanitarian interventions in Nigeria, including emergency response and malnutrition alleviation programmes, where she contributed to MEL framework design, data collection, and outcome tracking for thousands of beneficiaries. A published researcher and award-winning public speaker, Mirabelle is a mentee of the EvalYouth Global Mentorship Programme, a member of the Nigerian Association of Evaluators, and an affiliate of the AfrEA Young and Emerging Evaluators Network. She currently serves as a MEAL Officer at FutureShakers Initiative, supporting youth leadership and gender-focused programmes.

Robert Ouma

Robert is a current Cloneshouse Internship Programme 2026 intern, a dedicated public health professional and environmental health advocate, passionate about data-driven promotion of sustainable sanitation, SRHR, and community wellbeing. He holds a bachelor’s degree with an ongoing master’s in public health and a professional certification in monitoring and evaluation. As an enthusiastic visionary, he has served in various capacities, leading monitoring and evaluation programs, advocating for human and environmental health with organizations including: Inua Dada Foundation, Research Triangle Institute (RTI) International, 5Rights Foundation, and Nyanam International in Kenya. His interests and passion for monitoring and evaluation stem from his passion for project design and strategic implementation, accountability, and learning across initiatives.

Dauda Ayuba

Dauda is a current Cloneshouse Internship Programme 2026 intern, MEAL professional, policy researcher, and associate data analyst with experience in mixed-methods research, data analytics, and evidence-based policy. He works across government, agribusiness, and development initiatives, using data-driven approaches to strengthen programme performance and support strategic decision-making. He currently serves as an Education Officer at the Kaduna State Ministry of Education and as State Coordinator of the Nigeria Society of Data Analysts and Business Intelligence Experts, contributing to education programme monitoring, data-for-development initiatives, and professional collaboration within the analytics community. Dauda holds an M.Sc. in Policy and Development Studies, a B.A. in Local Government and Development Studies from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and a Professional Diploma in Data Analytics from Baze University, Abuja.

Samuel Kwaku Antwi

Samuel is a current Cloneshouse Internship Programme 2026 intern and emerging Monitoring and Evaluation professional with a strong interest in rural livelihood development and agriculture. He holds a Master of Science degree in Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture. Samuel is passionate about using data-driven approaches to strengthen agricultural systems, improve rural livelihoods, and enhance the effectiveness, accountability, and impact of development interventions. He is committed to contributing to sustainable and inclusive development, particularly within the agricultural sector.

Muktari Mustapha

Muktari is a current Cloneshouse Internship Programme 2026 intern and results-driven data professional with a strong interest in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning, focused on using data to improve health outcomes and operational efficiency. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and has experience in public health and development through his work with the Chigari Foundation, where he supports initiatives to improve vaccination uptake and strengthen healthcare delivery systems. He is also a fellow with the National Health Fellows under the Nigerian Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, contributing to health systems strengthening through data analysis, reporting, and programme implementation. Muktari is passionate about reducing infant and maternal mortality and improving healthcare delivery.

Messi Fegue Aloys Junior Ulrich

Messi is a current Cloneshouse Internship Programme 2026 intern and junior MEAL consultant based in Yaoundé, Cameroon, with over four years of experience in qualitative and quantitative research, data collection, analysis, and evaluation of development projects in Sub-Saharan Africa. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Project Monitoring and Evaluation at Institut Sciences Campus in Burkina Faso and is passionate about contextualised approaches, particularly Made in Africa Evaluation. His experience spans assignments with national and international organisations, including projects such as SWEDD, PADESCE, CAMPHIA, and UNICEF-supported interventions, where he has contributed to field studies, systematic reviews, participatory methods, digital data collection, team coordination, sensitive data analysis, and strategic reporting. Bilingual in French and English, Messi Fegue is an active member of the Cameroon Development Evaluation Association and is committed to strengthening evaluation culture, methodological innovation, and the impact of development interventions.
