Before retiring from the civil service in 2017, Temitope was a deputy director at the Federal Ministry of Water Resources facilitating development cooperation with bilateral and multilateral agencies including African Ministers Council on Water (AMCOW), Japan International Corporation Agency (JICA), United Nations Childrens Fund (UNICEF),UN-Habitat, and China’s Department of Foreign Aid of the Ministry of Commerce (Now China International Development Cooperation Agency).
Previously, Temitope held various management positions in the Nigeria government at the Federal Ministry of Education; Head of the Civil Service of the Federation; Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development; and the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation. At these government ministries, she focused on designing and developing sector wide strategic papers, and providing technical support in program planning. During her career with the Nigerian government, she was a member of several inter ministerial committees which included – Development of the National Strategy for Public Service Reform; Infrastructure and Finance Mechanism Committee of Lagos-Ogun Megacity Authority; National Gender Data Bank; Development of NEEDS II ( National Economic Empowerment Development strategy) and a list of others. Her early days working with the Nigerian government was spent as a Chief Scientific Officer at the Department of Water Supply and Quality Control.

His roles evolved from the development of the Rural Energy Access Program (REAP), which was aimed at ensuring affordable and sustainable clean energy access to the rural poor and reducing black carbon emissions, to being actively involved in the Rural Women and Energy Security where over 1 million rural women in Nigeria were equipped with clean energy technologies/alternatives.
He prepared the first policy document on Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency and the Action Plans for its implementation in Nigeria. Prior to working at the Federal Ministry of Environment, he worked as an Environmental Consultant to Ravenwell Power Nigeria Limited, where he assisted in registering and initiating all processes involved in establishing independent 50-100MW solar plants across different states in the northern part of Nigeria through the regulatory agencies involved.

Florence Nyambura spearheads Cloneshouse LLC’s mission in Kenya. With over 7 years of experience in research and recognized strengths in project management, supervision and coordination, monitoring and evaluation, quality assurance, data collection and recording, analysis, and training, Florence has the breadth and depth of experience needed to conduct multi-sector and middle—to large-scale research that informs decisions and courses of action to ensure the intended impact is achieved.
Before joining us at Clonehouse, Florence demonstrated her leadership skills by spearheading both larger and smaller research projects. She served as a project manager, coordinator, data quality assurance executive, and general researcher in various organizations in Kenya. Her leadership was particularly evident in the successful execution of research projects for companies and others funded by large donor organizations. She has also collaborated with evaluation consultants to conduct baseline surveys, mid-level, and end-of-term evaluations, further showcasing her ability to lead and manage complex projects.
