The Cloneshouse African Internship Programme (CAIP) offers Individuals (male and female), the platform to learn and carry out Monitoring and Evaluation activities like data collection and data quality analysis, e-learning on basic and advanced monitoring and evaluation, ex-post evaluation, learning studies, impact evaluation, MEL capacity strengthening, proposal writing, report writing, and so forth.

The Cloneshouse African Internship Program typically seeks candidates from all across Africa, with both experience and inexperience in data collection activities and data quality analysis, e-learning on basic and results-based monitoring and evaluation, ex-post evaluation, learning studies, impact evaluation, MEL capacity strengthening, proposal writing, report writing. It is with pleasure that we open the opportunity up to not just people with experience in the field but also to those who are looking to begin their career in Monitoring and Evaluation.

Consequently, it is with great pleasure that we introduce to you, our Evaluator Interns for Spring 2024.

Biruk Kefelegn

Biruk Kefelegn is a Health Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist with over eight years of experience in health program/project evaluation, healthcare data analysis, quality improvement, and healthcare facilities regulation. He is a monitoring and evaluation officer in the Medical Service Lead Executive Office.

Biruk is exceptionally skilled at program monitoring and evaluation, quality improvement projects, healthcare data analysis and visualization, crafting presentations, adhering to healthcare regulation standards, and leading digitization efforts.

He is active in industry associations and is a member of the Ethiopian Evaluation Association (EEvA) and the Ethiopia Infection Prevention and Control Association (EIPCA). Biruk is hopeful to get the hands-on MEL skills that come with participating in the Cloneshouse African Internship Program.

Immaculate Osuji

Immaculate is a public health practitioner with experience in monitoring and evaluation, and program management. She gained her experience and passion for monitoring and evaluation while working as a monitoring and evaluation assistant under the state ministry of health in collaboration with the challenge initiative. She completed her undergraduate degree in public health from the Federal university of technology Owerri, Imo state. She is also passionate about volunteering and has volunteered with organizations such as my life and my health as a health worker. 

Her areas of expertise are data collection and analysis, program management, public speaking, and technical writing. She hopes to build a future in monitoring and evaluation, while learning and working with Cloneshouse.

Amani Mwambura Ismail

Amani is a Management Consultant in the Development Consulting Services line. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Computing from Makerere University and Certificates in Mckinsey and Company Forward learning program, Computer Applications, and Designing and Implementing Monitoring and Evaluation Systems that have enhanced his skills and knowledge. He is currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation at the Uganda Management Institute, which will further equip him with the expertise and confidence to handle complex tasks. 

Amani has extensive experience in the M&E department, where he has successfully delivered projects for various clients across different sectors. As a Monitoring and Evaluation professional, he aims to contribute and learn from Cloneshouse.

Joshua Idris

Joshua Idris Nalos Kida from South Sudan possesses significant experience in program management and coordination, project development, planning, monitoring, and evaluation.  He has the skill to develop training manuals, and facilitate training/workshops, as well as post-training evaluation. 

He completed his Bachelor degree in Global Studies and International Relations (Diplomacy) at Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Having 5 to 6 years in the M & E Department and Administration. Joshua is hopeful to get the hands-on MEL skills that come with participating in the Cloneshouse African Internship Program.

Kelvin C. Kamei

Kelvin is a dedicated and result-driven graduate with a joint Master’s Degree in Governance from the Pan African University and University of Yaoundé II in Cameroon and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance from Cuttington University in Liberia, with high interest in monitoring and evaluation, project management, public policy, global development, and international relations.

Through the Cloneshouse African Internship Program, Kelvin  is aiming to apply his theoretical knowledge and gain practical experience in results-based monitoring and evaluation, impact evaluation, MEL capacity strengthening, proposal writing, and technical report writing, and also aiming to collaborate with the Cloneshouse team to contribute to the development of key performance indicators.

Daniel Ibikitan

Daniel is a dedicated professional and the Team Lead at Peak Performance Tutors, an esteemed Educational Consultant specializing in extracurricular and educational training for children and teenagers with a robust commitment to honing personality strengths and programming young minds for peak academic performance.

Daniel holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) honors degree in Physics Electronics from the Federal University of Technology Minna, Niger State, Nigeria. His academic background not only reflects his commitment to continuous learning but also brings a technical expertise that complements his role in education and leadership development.

Through the Cloneshouse African Internship Program, Daniel hopes to learn the skill sets required for project evaluation management.

Sharon Anthony

Sharon E Anthony, possesses a Degree in public health from Taraba state university (Nigeria). Sharon has experience working at different primary Health care centers. She has previously worked as a MEL Intern with Palladium in FCT on the USAID- Integrated Health Program (IHP) funded projects.

Sharon is hopeful to get the hands-on MEL skills that come with participating in the Cloneshouse African Internship Program.
