Project Description

We supported the Pro-Poor Growth and Promotion of Employment in Nigeria (SEDIN) Programme of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) meant to improve the employment and income situation of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) by providing MEL support and conducting a training needs assessment with 4 partner organizations – PLASMIDA (Plateau State Microfinance Development Agency); AYEAID (African Youth Empowerment in Agriculture and Industrial Development); TIC (Technology Incubation Centre); Lead Resources to understand what their expectations are and what some of the key issues are that the teams are facing when it comes to project management, monitoring, and evaluation.

We designed adult learning approach training and developed training materials and handouts based on a briefing with SEDIN/GOPA and the needs/interest expressed by the 4 Start-up Loop partner organizations. Our consultants conducted tailor-made project management training in Abuja based on adult learning methodologies and participatory approaches.
