The Cloneshouse African Internship Programme (CAIP) offers Individuals (male and female), the platform to learn and carry out Monitoring and Evaluation activities like data collection and data quality analysis, e-learning on basic and results-based monitoring and evaluation, ex-post evaluation, learning studies, impact evaluation, MEL capacity strengthening, proposal writing, report writing, and so forth.

The Cloneshouse African Internship Program typically seeks candidates from all across Africa, with both experience and inexperience in data collection activities and data quality analysis, e-learning on basic and results-based monitoring and evaluation, ex-post evaluation, learning studies, impact evaluation, MEL capacity strengthening, proposal writing, report writing. It is with pleasure that we open the opportunity up to not just people with experience in the field but also to those who are looking to begin their career in Monitoring and Evaluation.

Consequently, it is with great pleasure that we introduce to you, our Evaluator Interns for Winter 2023.

Abdou Touray

Abdou is a planner at the Ministry of Trade, The Gambia. He is currently serving as an M&E officer in two projects. He is the Ministry’s focal person for the National Strategy for The Development of Statistics 2023-2027 (NSDS III) of The Gambia. Abdou is one of the Admins of the Ministry’s Management Information System (MIS) and is enthusiastic about the use of quality data collection, management, and analysis to make well-informed decisions and/or policies that reflect the realities on the ground to positively impact the lives and livelihood of the people.

Ibelem Dienye

Ibelem is a self-led professional who within the past decade has curated and analyzed data that have led to improvements in health sector initiatives, closely monitored project life cycle outcomes alongside project scope and schedule, per time. She has played key roles in several projects across the six geopolitical zones in Nigeria, driving high-end outcomes for both government-led projects and private sector projects, collaboration with international organizations inclusive, from small scale to very large scale projects. She has an ongoing degree in Public Health with the University of Portharcourt School of Public Health, Nigeria.

Charles Junior Amedzi

Charles Junior teaches and practices Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E). He has expertise in performing evaluations in technical and interdisciplinary fields at all levels (ex-ante, mid-term, final, and ex-post). Charles Junior is passionate about using his knowledge and experience to advance the development sector. He has a Master’s degree in Monitoring and Evaluation from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, GIMPA, and is one of Cloneshouse’s Evaluator Interns for Winter 2023.

Olubusayo Lilithalethu Ilori 

Lilithalethu from South Africa, is a monitoring and evaluation enthusiast who is currently doing her master’s in Development Studies in the University of Sussex, England. She also has an  undergraduate degree in Politics and International Relations. Her goal as an intern with Cloneshouse is to have a better understanding of how to manage and measure projects whilst understanding the critical success factors and challenges. She also hopes  to sharpen her  skills in data analysis and report writing, and to gain comparative advantage in her studies through this internship program.

Richard Omeje

Richard is  a Google Data Analytics and Organizational Leadership certified professional. Richard in his capacity as  data analyst has technical  experience in the collection, cleaning, analyzing, visualization, and  interpretation of data. He also well versed in  Statistics, Report writing, Transcriptions, Qualitative Analysis and Research. He has an undergraduate degree in Geology from Kogi State University, Nigeria, and has over four independent  graduate research publications .He appreciates creative problem solving, field research, and getting hands-on experience with a variety of projects.

Temitope Yetu Monyeh

Temitope Monyeh has a background in Statistics and Masters in Financial Analysis. She is currently the Monitoring & Evaluation Officer with ACE Charity, Nigeria. She has developed her skills and possesses various Analytical, Organizational, Communication, and Research Skills, amongst others. She has experience executing monitoring and evaluation policies and strategies and has been dedicated to monitoring, evaluating, and reporting projects. She is well versed in designing tools and strategies for data collection, analysis, and production of quality reports with proven ICT skills.

Ferdinand Apev

Ferdinand is an M&E officer with a Community-Based organization (CBO) implementing the Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) project funded by the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria (IHVN). He is passionate about Monitoring and Evaluation in finding, acquiring, cleaning, and transforming data which will drive decisions. He is also a graduate of mathematics and computer science, and loves putting smiles on faces of the vulnerable and marginalized persons – helping them to have a voice of their own.

Josephine Ogaja

Josephine is an experienced mid-level researcher with expertise in data analysis and conducting both qualitative and quantitative research. She has equally conducted Monitoring & Evaluation within the context of Health with the Kenya Medical Research Institute (Nairobi, Kenya), focusing on Malaria Projects. She is enthusiastic about learning deeper on how to develop and implement M&E systems.

It is with pleasure that we open the CAIP opportunity up to not just young Africans with experience in the field of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL), but also to those who are looking to begin their career in MEL. Fresh graduates are also afforded the opportunity to gain direct practical experience with Cloneshouse’s work. Learn more about our work here.
