Currently, he leads the product development of the Nigeria Poverty Map at Cloneshouse Nigeria. Shortly after graduating and working for various international development organizations like the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, UNICEF, Nigeria National Bureau of Statistics, he worked with Connected Development (Follow the Money) as a community manager, focusing on product design and assisting the communications team. He helped in the design and integration of the biggest online community dedicated to transparency and accountability, helping the organization expands across Nigeria and into Africa.
Cloneshouse Nigeria is supporting the Nigerian government to develop an open geospatial web-based poverty map, and dashboard, to make informed policy and business decisions that will lead to more strategic economic development.
Due to his work with the Connected Development team, he was recommended as an International Election Monitor Expert by the Colorado Secretary of State to observe the 2016 USA General election.
He holds his Master’s in a double major in Technology, Media and Societies: Information and Communication Technology for Development with a focus on designing and developing products that solve real problems that face humanity in today’s fast-moving world. In his free time, he writes to think and explore, reads books (mostly on designs, systems, and architecture) and teardown systems while also enjoying a good adventure.
Tunde is an enthusiast and a dangerous sports wannabe and he hopes to travel the world one country at a time.
