Project Description

The ability of an effective and efficient state to implement bold development policies that are critical to sustainable development and inclusive economic growth hinges on information that: guides policymakers and decision-makers on whether they are achieving results; enlightens policymakers on how projects and programs can be improved; while also stimulating public debate about the efficiency of public programs and policies.

A strong Results-Based Monitoring and Evaluation (RBME) system is uniquely positioned to provide a platform for this kind of information. As such, Cloneshouse Nigeria is conducting a participatory initial assessment of how and if an RBME System can help improve service delivery programs in Nigeria. This project focuses on instruments of Monitoring and Evaluation at the Ministry of Budget and National Planning; Ministry of Water Resources; Ministry of Health; Ministry of Education.
