Globally, 91 per cent of countries’ national development strategies—approved since 2015—refer to the 2030 agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs); however, according to the Global Partnership for Effective Development Co-operation, only 35 per cent of them have reliable data and systems to track the progress of their policies and programs.Looking for paid and free online monitoring and evaluation courses in the year? To bridge this gap, the Global Evaluation Initiative was launched in 2020 to provide in-country capacities on monitoring and evaluation. Amidst the launch, countries are still struggling with COVID-19, which has reduced face to face training on M&E. Nevertheless, some institutions have developed online courses to mitigate the effect of COVID-19. By now, most of us are now used to online training sessions – either self-paced or live. In this resource, we have crowdsourced monitoring and evaluation online courses that you can attend in early 2021. If you think we have missed out on any M&E training scheduled for the beginning of the year, feel free to add such monitoring and evaluation online courses using the spreadsheet on this link – https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1_kT2Mu5CVHGBpaUmbODTjwwxzcDVrn_JVzV6AO4FWrY/edit?usp=sharing
