Who are your facilitators?

Our course facilitators are professionals. They build their skills and experience by doing training and consultancy work around the world with different organisations. With expertise grounded in practical experience, we can guarantee our training is relevant and up-to-date.

Who are the other participants?

Your fellow participants will come from a range of organisations from around the world. This diversity allows you to share your own experience and learn from others'. Our class sizes vary from 15 to 20 people (local training) and 20 to 25 people (International trainings).

Is Cloneshouse Nigeria a registered organization?

Cloneshouse Nigeria is incorporated under the companies and allied matters act 1990 of Nigeria as a hybrid organization with registration number RC1034597.

What experience do I need to join one of your course?

You need to be an entrepreneur or working for a government, a private company, an INGO or multilateral organisation, or for a smaller local project or programme.

Where are the courses held?

Our scheduled courses are held (Locally)in two regional hubs - Abuja, in the Federal Capital Territory and Lagos. Our venues are centrally located hotels, conference or workshop centres. We will send you details in your Welcome Pack three weeks before your course is due to start. Our International training is held in Accra, Ghana and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, once in a year.

Where should I stay?

We recommend you stay close to the training venue, ideally at the venue where possible. We will send you a full list of options in your Welcome Pack three weeks before your course is due to start.

What level of English do I need for your courses?

All our scheduled courses are delivered in English. You need good spoken English to work effectively with your facilitator and other participants. Because much of our course content is technical and we have a participatory approach, you need to be an effective communicator in English.

What is the social programme?

Our courses of five days or more include free social events. These are optional but provide a good chance to find out about the wider development community and build links with your fellow participants and Cloneshouse Nigeria people. We try to schedule at least one event. We sometimes also arrange a weekend trip for our international courses. Our social events include sightseeing and cultural excursions, dinners and activities such as hiking.

1. Once you have chosen your course, fill in our online application.
2. We will check your learning objectives and advise you by e-mail if we think we have a better course for you.
3. We will also contact you by e-mail to confirm who will pay the tuition fees.
4. Once we have confirmed who will pay the fees, we will send the invoice for payment. We will e-mail you to confirm we have done this. We will also send you a support letter to help you with your training confirmation in your organization, likewise to use to apply for visas incase of our international training.
5. Your or your sponsors pays the invoice in full.
6. We will confirm your course three weeks before the course start date, so you can apply for visas. We will also send your Welcome Pack so you can book flights and accommodation. (If we have to cancel the course and you have already paid, we will refund the amount in full and you’ll receive a 15% discount on future bookings.)

How do I make payment?

Fees should be paid by bank deposit. Your invoice will have our full bank details.

We prefer payment in Nigerian Naira. However, we can accept payment by bank transfer in US Dollars (USD), Great Britain Pounds and Euros. If you or your sponsor would like to pay in US Dollars, Pounds or Euros. Please inform us when you or your sponsor confirms they will pay for the course.

All course fees must be paid in full at least three weeks before the course is due to start. All bank charges are the participant's or sponsor’s responsibility.

Are there any discounts available?

Yes. We offer a 15% discount for individuals and organisations that have bought services from us before. Please see our Fees and Discounts page for more information.

Do you offer other courses not shown here?

We only offer Result Based Monitoring and Evaluation as a scheduled course, we can offer tailor made training anywhere in the world in any area of international development. Find out more about tailor-made training or contact us to discuss your options.
